With COVID-19 shutting down all in-person events, ITMS has been busy developing alternative virtual event ideas to replace the traditional press conference for its clients. BAU Online 2021, the German trade show focused on architecture, building, materials and systems in Munich, proved the perfect setting to bring the trade media together for a virtual press conference for agency client Aluprof. With a strong turnout, the online press happening allowed the company to call attention to its latest developments and answer the media’s questions in a remote setting, all while maintaining a face-to-face (albeit virtual) relationship with key journalists. Online press conferences have different requirements and they take more time to plan and execute but when done properly, they can provide a seamless, accessible way to expand your reach and motivate the media to cover your newsworthy event.
