CIECH, headquartered in Poland, is an international chemical group with eight European production plants and a strong position on global markets. The publicly traded chemical group will further strengthen its position in the market by opening one of the most modern and environmentally friendly plants in Stassfurt, Saxony-Anhalt for the production of evaporated salt.

Growing market for salt tablets
The chemical concern whose shares are listed on both the Warsaw and Frankfurt Stock Exchanges, will be able to cater to the increasing global demand for industrial salts. The growing market for salt tablets in particular is an area for which CIECH will be well-positioned for in the future. With a consumption of almost 450,000 tons of salt tablets per year, Germany is the largest market for salt tablets in Europe.
