For the ninth time on May 4, 2017 at the House of Logistics and Mobility (HOLM) outside Frankfurt Airport, experts will discuss hot-button issues surrounding air transport.

Topics at the international event are extremely diverse, ranging from alliance in the aviation industry to the use of drones in the freight business to the advantages and disadvantages of privatizing airports. Over 40 industry leaders will deliver insights at the event.

The newly instituted Social Media Panel is one of the highlights on this year’s agenda. The intensive use of social media channels is an important part of communication for many companies, enabling them to network with stakeholders and enter into direct dialogue with customers. This trend has permeated the aviation industry. This year’s event will be one of the first to bring together industry players and influential bloggers. Pilots, flight attendants and influencers will discuss the impact of social media on the aviation industry as a whole, as well as take a look at the opportunities and risks that result from the use of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
